New Hampshire experts say the rapid increase in ethanol production may fuel higher food prices.
Agriculture Commissioner Steve Taylor estimates that 30 percent of the nation's corn supply this year will be used to produce the biofuel. He says less corn will be available in supermarkets or for animal feed, pushing those prices up and translating into higher prices for dairy, meat and eggs.
